City Secretary
The City Secretary’s Office is responsible for essential city functions, including:
- Custodian of all city documents and the City Seal
- Local election authority
- Issuance of licenses and permits
- Maintenance of city records, ordinances, and resolutions
- Administration of open records and meetings
- Oversight of council budgets and legal notices
- Parliamentary services for city council
In addition to these core duties, the City Secretary ensures transparency and fosters public participation in local governance

The City Secretary Office is the official record keeper for the City and is responsible for maintaining all City records. In addition, the Clerk’s Office prepares, maintains, and files all City records, ordinances, resolutions, and official documents.
