The City of Matador Boil Water Notice issued September 23, 2026, has been rescinded.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore water quality. Laboratory test results provided to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use for drinking water or human consumption.
